Mentoring and Support

The MEDES conference also aims to promote advanced results obtained by researchers from developing and under-represented countries. This is translated by three objectives:

  • Mentoring : MEDES encourages researchers from developing countries to seek the assistance of mentor(s). A mentor will be an expert in a certain field within MEDES research areas committed to assist the author(s) to improve the quality of the prospective scientific contributions for the conference. The mentoring system will be available at least 4 months prior to the submission deadline. Mentoring system is independent of the paper selection process. Please note that the submission of papers to be mentored must be done before April 1st, 2009. Submissions must be emailed to the Program chairs.

  • Financial support : Authors of accepted papers after the peer review process may benefit from financial support to the maximum extent that this is possible.
